FAQs

What is What's Happening Lethbridge County?

The purpose of this site is to act as a platform for engagement between citizens and businesses and Lethbridge County Council and administration.  We value public feedback and this is one way which we can gather input when considering projects and initiatives.  The County believes that the decision-making process can be enhanced by engaging citizens and other stakeholder groups where appropriate.

It also acts as a portal to share important information on things like capital projects and how they'll affect you, elections, and much more.

Why do I have to register?

Registration is optional, but encouraged if you're interesting in getting more involved with proposed projects and initiatives.  We ask for you to register for some projects to ensure that we are getting feedback from those who are directly affected by decisions.  For example, we might ask for you to register to provide feedback for a project taking place in Diamond City, and ask for your postal code during registration to filter any comments from citizens living outside the Diamond City area.

Registering for an account will allow you to sign up for updates for projects that are most important to you.

How do I register for an account?

To register, follow these steps:

  1. Click the ‘Register’ at the top right of the page
  2. Choose a username and a password

How is feedback used?

Lethbridge County will use your input in different ways, depending on the project or initiative.  Some opportunities will use input extensively to shape the project, while others may use your feedback in conjunction with other considerations.  Each project will have a level of engagement indicator, like the one at the top of the page, to show you how your feedback will be used.
