The County's plan involves the reconstruction of Range Road 21-1 (McNally Rd) from Oak Avenue to Township Road 8-2, spanning a length of 1.7km, transforming it into a 9m wide asphalt-surfaced roadway that will only necessitate a seasonal ban. Within this project scope, the County is conducting an assessment of the curve between Stewart Avenue and Oak Avenue (north of the primary project limits) to explore potential radius improvements and assess the necessity of the existing guardrail. While a construction schedule has yet to be finalized, once a contractor is selected, they will issue a construction notification letter to residents adjoining the project, outlining the schedule.
Impact on the Public:
During the project's duration, the County is dedicated to ensuring continuous access for local residents and landowners. Please keep a safe distance from all excavated areas and machinery while work is ongoing. Traffic control will be in place for the duration of the project. Kindly adhere to all detours and prioritize safety throughout the site.
Project Update:
The project is scheduled to commence on April 22nd with an anticipated completion date of July 31st, weather permitting.
